The Judo for Peace Project, supported by the European Union's "European Sport Week," brought together participants from various backgrounds in Kilis Gsim for a year-long journey of self-discovery and unity through the sport of judo. This report presents a summary of the project's activities and outcomes.

Unity Through Judo: Throughout the year, judo was utilized not only as a sport but as a potent instrument for bringing people together. Participants engaged in regular judo training sessions, forging strong bonds that transcended cultural and societal boundaries.

Social Cohesion: The project actively promoted social cohesion by encouraging participants to interact and cooperate both on and off the judo mat. Workshops, team-building exercises, and community events helped break down barriers and enhance understanding among participants.

Inclusivity: Inclusion was a central theme of the project. Efforts were made to ensure that individuals of all abilities, backgrounds, and ages had the opportunity to participate in judo. This commitment to inclusivity exemplified the project's dedication to diversity.

Testimonials and Demonstrations: The project's culminating event featured heartfelt testimonials and captivating judo demonstrations. These moving accounts and displays of skill underscored the dedication and passion of each project participant.

The success of the Judo for Peace Project within the European Sport Week would not have been possible without the generous support of the European Union. Their commitment to using sports as a catalyst for positive change is commendable.
